A Pre purchase or Timber pest inspection is an inspection and report of the Building and property for timber pests and other related conducive conditions.
Timber pest inspections are often called Pre purchase pest inspections due to the fact that they are carried out when purchasing a property.
It is highly recommended that two inspections be carried out before purchasing a property – a Timber Pest Inspection and a Building Inspection.
Pre-Purchase Timber Pest Inspections carried out by Scenic Rim Pest Management are in accordance with Australian Standards 4349.3 and deal with the detection or non-detection and reporting of:
- Termite activity and/or damage
- Borer activity and/or damage
- Timber Decay and Rot
- Water leaks and Drainage
- Termite protection and recommendations
